Dark Matter eLiquid

Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Description

The Kappa 682.9cf 5""x7""/6""x8"" speakers feature light, but stiff woven glass-fiber woofer cones that won't flex or distort. The Plus One design offers a larger surface area for improved low-frequency output and efficiency, while longer voice coils produce tighter, snappier bass. Large magnets keep the woofers running cooler by placing more steel close to the voice coils to act as a heat sink.

Infinity uses the same Metal Matrix Diaphragm tweeter found in many of their popular home speakers, so you'll hear the music the way it was recorded with minimal coloration or distortion. The dome tweeters pivot, allowing you to adjust them for better stereo imaging.

The computer-optimized outboard crossover networks employ audiophile-grade components to separate highs and lows, so that the woofer and tweeter work together perfectly. Pre-wired crossovers eliminate a time-consuming step in your installation, and terminals at the end of the crossover wires screw directly to the speakers, leaving no chance for incorrect wiring.

Summary: "Great Speakers!"

After careful review of speakers that would fit in my 2010 Ford Edge, I purchased 2 pair of these - front and rear replacements. What a difference from the stock speakers! The most notable thing about these is the clarity of the sound they produce. The rotating adjustable tweeter is perfect for tailoring the speakers for the mounting positions around the car. With the adjustments to these, it removes the needs for component tweeters to be mounted separately and allowed me to keep the stock look of the interior. I highly recommend these for someone looking to improve the sound inside an Edge without having to replace the factory head unit. I am extremely satisfied with these.

Summary: "Cautiously Optimistic"

I have 4 of these speakers installed in an 01 Ford Taurus. The sound is a huge improvement over the stock speakers. The highs are crisper and the mids are more clear. The bass doesn't hit as hard as a sub but the lows are much cleaner and not muddy. They're only powered by my Kenwood KDC-138 receiver, but they still sound great at full volume, and probably even better with an amp.
I can't really judge installation because for some reason installing any audio device in a Taurus is 10X harder than it needs to be. The only problem I have is one of my front windows doesn't roll down all the way and the external crossover is kind of a pain. It rattles around sometimes but I can live with it. I'm sure a creative person can find a way to secure it.
I would give these speakers 5 stars but I still don't know how they can handle an amp or stand up to heavy bass from a sub.

Summary: "screams!"

I paired these with a cruch 900 amp. Plus 2 p3s10 fosgate subs pushed with a lanzar 292 in a 97 f150 extended cab. This combination absolutley rocks! Its plenty loud. I listen to mostly rock and it does a great job!

Summary: "Amazing Highs"

I just put four of these in my 2010 Mustang and they sound amazing. I was a little worried because I am using the stock headunit to power them, but they they have a high sensitivity rating and they are technically 2ohm so they sound fine without an amp.

They are a little weak at producing bass, so you will probably want to add a subwoofer. The mustang's "shaker 500" has two 8in subs that can pretty much make up for the missing bass, but I am still considering adding a sub to complete the system.

Some of the nice features include tweeters that you can aim and external crossovers, which is probably why they sound almost as good as components.

Summary: "Great upgrade for little money"

I replaced the factory speakers in my Ford Ranger with these and have been very pleased with the increase in clarity and tightness of the bass. At first they have a definite "disco smile" going on (referring to the smile shaped curve of graphic equalizers of old) tons of soaring highs and great bass. It takes about a month of good mid-volume listening to break them in. After the break in period the mids make their way through, rounding out the sound to something you would expect from your home system. These make my factory stereo sound like a high end head unit. Happy listening.
